263/365 - Auntie Robyn's Kidney Stones

For some reason, Isobel slept in until after 7am this morning. Why won't she do that on weekends?

Jon started work late today so that meant I didn't have to trek it anywhere to pick Isobel up from; they instead picked me up from work and then we drove Jon to work.

Auntie Robyn had surgery today in Vancouver to remove her kidney stones. Since it was day surgery, Raven and the kids decided to hang out in Richmond until it was time to go pick Robyn back up. I think Isobel was very excited to see them two days in a row. She would giggle hysterically at Mason and hug (and knock down) baby Cordy. When it was time to leave, Mason gave Isobel (and me too) a big kiss goodbye. And as soon as their car was out of our parking garage, Isobel started asking after "baby". She kept asking but seemed okay with the response that "baby", Mason, and their daddy went to go get their mommy. We all wish Robyn a speedy recovery.

Shortly after Raven and the kids left, Jon arrived home from work. We hung out with a tired, and cranky Isobel; tried to get her to take a really late nap but it didn't work. She did sit on her potty for a long time, just no success yet at filling it.

We meet up with Auntie April and her new boyfriend, Bobby, for a late dinner at Dinesty.

Isobel fell asleep quickly for Jon.
