I'm late doing the write up. Jon drove me to work. Ended up in a meeting that lasted most of my work day with a couple of breaks - trying to run a test script for a custom development for loyalty programs using our parking equipment. Sounds like a lot of fun, doesn't it?
Got home to find Isobel snoring on the couch. She ended up napping for about two hours. I picked up some fish and chips for grandma from the pub downstairs. Isobel stole a bunch of her fries.
And then I picked up Jon from work. We picked up Matty and drove out to Coquitlam to get April. As we got to Drexoll, Darcy was locking up for the night - they're no longer open late on Friday nights for gaming and haven't been in a really long time. And since April's been in Korea for two years, we haven't gone there for gaming in over two years. So quick change of plans, we headed back to Matty's and played some boardgames there. And that was the last night in Jon's and mine week of date nights. Thanks grandma!

178/365 - Dandelion
I called in sick to work this morning. I had a huge headache and just wanted to sleep - thanks to the antibiotics and mastitis. I then proceeded to sleep in a lot longer than I sleep in even on weekends.
I managed to get up and get dressed and walk Jon to the sky train with Isobel and grandma. Jon had a massage appointment with Kate at her clinic, Serenity, before he had to work.
Grandma, Isobel and I then wandered around the mall for a while. And the eventually headed home through the park. Isobel ran around the park looking for bunnies, geese, squirrels, and ducks to feed carrots to.
When we got home, I headed back to bed and took a nap for almost three hours. Just as I was waking up, Isobel came into breastfeed and nap. After Isobel woke up, grandma and I watched an episode of Bones on her laptop. And then we headed down to the courtyard to enjoy the nice weather.
Isobel blew on her first dandelion. And then wanted more, but it was the only one I could find. She also fell on the path and managed to scrape her nose.
I left just after five to walk to Jon's work and meet up with him for the fourth date night this week. We picked up a couple of things from the grocery store and then walked to this Vietnamese place on Three Road near Granville that I occasionally go to for lunch and that Jon's never been to. As usual it was very good.
We walked home through the park and saw that the lake also has turtles and koi. Isobel and grandma were looking out the window watching for us.
Isobel had fun throwing a beach ball around the house. Jon and her had a bubble bath. She admitted that grandma packed her in grandma's suitcase when Jon and I were out (at least she answered "yup" when asked that question). And then she breastfeed for a tiny bit off the infected breast; I think the drugs are working as it was not as painful as it had been. I had managed to avoid using that breast all day, but do not want my milk supply to dry up yet. Although, I am partly wondering if this is a good excuse to stop breastfeeding her. And Jon's just putting her to bed now.

177/365 - Leaning to Give Grandpa a Kiss
I went to the clinic at work today and yes, I have mastitis. The doctor wrote a prescription for some antibiotics.
Isobel and grandma met me at the park on my way home.
Isobel was really clingy. After hanging out with Isobel for a while, I met up with Jon. We got my prescription filled, had some sushi for dinner, went to board gaming at Imperial, and the did some grocery shopping on the way home. Isobel was already asleep when we got home. Jon and I played a couple of boardgames at home and then went to bed.

176/365 - Koala and Live Wire
Work was work; stayed late to get an email off. And then headed home to Isobel.
She fell asleep for about ten minutes and then woke up when I tried to move her. Also, one of my milk ducts is really clogged and very painful. It's painful enough to make me want to stop breastfeeding right away. But we'll see how tomorrow goes.
Jon called me as he was leaving for work and I walked to meet him. We had dinner at the pub near us and then went for a short walk around Minoru Park. Apparently, I too get excited to see the bunnies. But since we didn't have Isobel with us, no food for the bunnies.
Isobel saw us on our way home from the window and started excitedly waving. Just as we got home, my mom got a phone call that her Aunt Betty passed away.
Jon gave Isobel a bath and put her to bed.

175/365 - Snuggles with Grandma
Back to the work grind. As this is grandma's last week looking after Isobel, Jon and I have decided to try to squeeze in dates every night. I met Jon at his work and we sky trained it downtown. He wanted to check out the Boobquake rally at the Art Gallery (it had already ended by the time we arrived) and do some shopping for some summer work clothes for himself. He was able to find a pair of shorts (not really for work) and a couple of short sleeves shirts (including a blue one (usually everything's black, grey or brown in his wardrobe) and a driessier looking black shirt with buttons (actually snaps) that is a t-shirt material). And he even managed to look into two stores and agree to try a different store the next time he feels like shopping for clothes (which will most likely be in six months or so). We then went for a sushi dinner, but not at Kadoya as they're closed on Mondays. Also the new Japadog store location on Robson is not yet open. Oh welll....next time. Stopped in at Future Shop on the way home to pick up the second season of Chuck. We got home as Isobel was just falling asleep so Jon took over from grandma for a few minutes. I wanted to go in a give her a kiss goodnight but knew Jon would get mad at me for waking Isobel up.
Also, Isobel took a two hour nap in the afternoon for Grandma.

174/365 - Dinner with Grandparents
We picked grandma up from Yogi's in Langley. We all ended up going, instead of just me as planned since Isobel was so cranky. She didn't sleep in the car, but also didn't scream the entire time either.
Jeff and Louise came over for dinner. While we were waiting for it to cook, we went to the park on the usual bunny hunt. It was a very nice visit and Isobel had lots of fun playing with Louise.
Isobel fell asleep breastfeeding in the evening and I was able to sneak her into her bed without having to give her a bottle.

173/365 - Pool Time
I feel like a horrible mother, Isobel cried twice last night (and Jon crawled out of bed to go sleep with her) and I slept through it all.
Isobel and I walked Jon to his gaming session at Imperial Hobbies, hung out for a little bit, and then headed home. We then waited until the appointment the realtor had set up for the afternoon. To my surprise three different groups showed up; would have been nice if the realtor would have told us that. As it was she didn't even call until 10am that morning to finalize the time. Truth be told, I'm not overly impressed.
In the evening, we went down to the pool. Weren't there for too long. But again, had it to ourselves for most of the time.
Isobel fell asleep pretty quickly and then Jon and I watched some more of Chuck before going to bed.

172/365 - Bubble Bath
Went to work. Jon started work earlier today so that he could be home to watch Isobel while I drove my mom out to Langley.
I laid down with Isobel to breastfeed her into a nap and I fell asleep as well. When I woke up there was a note outside the bedroom door saying to enjoy my nap; Jon had driven my mom instead so that I could sleep. I crawled back into bed hoping to nap some more, but woke Isobel up as I got in. So she only dozed while breastfeeding for another half an hour while I read.
Jon got home and we watched the first episode of Chuck. Isobel and Jon took a bubble bath; however I ended up joining them as Isobel wanted me. It took a really long time for her to go to sleep for Jon.

171/365 - Buying New Sandals
Was really bad and drove to work today even though I signed a no-parking declaration. But I had to be home by a specific time as the realator was showing our place and I was not sure I'd make it on time skytraining it.
Grandma and Isobel went to Surrey today to have lunch with some of my mom's ex-coworkers.
We picked Jon up from work in the evening and drove out to Park Royal for some shopping. Got Isobel a pair of sandals for the summer. I was trying to find flip flops that would fit her since she seems to love mine, but no luck so settled for these instead.
Jon picked up Firefly on BlueRay for a really good price and I got the first season of Chuck as a friend of mine keeps telling me that I'd like it.

170/365 - Grandma's Laptop
Today was a good day for me, except for the fact that I didn't see a lot of my daughter. Went to work. Some clients took my supervisor and me out for lunch at the Boathouse. Mom and Isobel picked me up from work. Got home and did a video call with Grandpa (pictured above. Isobel loves Grandma's laptop). Isobel didn't nap as she had napped on Grandma earlier in the day when a couple of her ex-cowerkers where over visiting.
I went back to work for a work party thanking us for the work over the Olympics. Jon Montgomery (won a gold medal for Skeleton) was there so I got to hold a gold medal. Which was pretty awesome as I never got a chance to go to the Mint Pavilion during the Olympics. It was a nice event, but I had to leave early to go meet up with Jon.
We checked out the clothing store beside Imperial Hobbies and I bought a couple of items. Then we went to Imperial Hobbies for Wednesday boardgaming. Played some Space Beans and Dominion. Left early as we were tired, but Isobel was already in bed sleeping by the time we got home.
Also have to mention that Mike and Julia sent us this cute little French game that we played after our wedding last summer. It's called Rythme and Boulet. It's a fun, silly and simple multiplayer game. I really hope they move back to Vancouver after Julia's assignment to China (not for a couple of years yet though) is complete.

169/365 - Swimming
Jon took Isobel to the study at UBC today. She then fell asleep on the way home.
Isobel did not want to take a nap for me when I got home. She would not let me take a nap, or Grandma take a nap either.
So we eventually ended up doing a video call with Grandpa until it was time to look out the window for Daddy.
Jon, with Isobel's help, made pancakes for dinner. We're eating pancakes a little more frequently than normal as my mom likes them and Isobel will eat them.
After dinner Jon, Isobel and I decided to go swimming in the complex's pool. We had the pool to ourselves most of the time which was really nice. Isobel seemed really excited to be in the water even if it is a little cool. After getting out of the pool I realized that I had forgotten to bring a diaper for Isobel. Good thing the pool is in the building next to ours.
Isobel and Jon watched a bunch of animal videos on flickr and utube before Isobel was ready for bed. She fell asleep quickly for Jon.

168/365 - Looking for Pups from the Patio
Slept in this morning so Jon drove me to work late. Which meant that I stayed late to make up the hours.
Grandma and Isobel met me at the mall and we walked home through the park. Isobel had fallen asleep on grandma earlier, did not wake when placed on the couch, and slept for almost two hours. As usual, walked home through the park to feed the bunnies.
Isobel wanted to play outside on the patio since it was warm in the apartment.
She started seriously watching for Jon to come home at 5:30pm even though he's not usually home until 6pm.
Jon made taco salad for dinner. We watched an episode of Dr Who and then Jon gave Isobel a bath. Jon and I then took a shower and now he's putting her to bed.
Tomorrow Jon takes Isobel to participate in another study with the Language Development center at UBC.

167/365 - Napping on Daddy
Jon drove to Chilliwack to pick up my mom while Isobel and I tidied up her toys, did some laundry, and loaded the dishwasher. She also ate some watermelon and grapes.
After Jon and grandma got home, Jon and I ran some errands - mostly grocery shopping. Rented a couple of videos.
Isobel slept through Twilight:New Moon. I'm really not surprised though as it was pretty horrible. I've read the books and watched the first two movies on video and have yet to be able to figure out why they are so popular. Several of my friends recommended the series, but the writing is horrific; I think the main character is too whiny and weak; and it's not really a "new" concept. So why does the general populace like them so much? Have I missed something?
Gave Isobel a bath while Jon watched The Fantastic Mr. Fox; I was too tired to watch another movie. It took Jon an hour to get Isobel to sleep so I crawled into bed and read until he came to bed.

166/365 - Return of Auntie April
Jon drove grandma to Abbotsford while Isobel and I did some sweeping and tidying up.
April returned home from teaching in Korea for two years so we had a bunch of people over to day hi to her and play boardgames.
The Birds arrived first. Cordy is now walking on her own. Mason had fallen asleep in the car on their drive over, so Raven sat there with him until he woke up. Once Mason woke up, we ordered in Mad Greek for lunch.
Matty and April arrived in the afternoon. We played a round of Settlers and I managed to get Isobel to nap for over an hour by herself in our bed room. And it only took me about 15 minutes to get her to fall asleep.
The Birds left to get their baby birds home. And the rest of us played Small World.
When Isobel woke up we went to the park to feed bunnies. It started to rain so we headed home. Ordered food from the pub for dinner and played more boardgames.
I quickly bathed Isobel and volunteered to put her to bed. It took me an hour to get her to sleep; it takes Jon 15 minutes. Hence why I rarely put her to bed.
Played some more boardgames and then Matty and April headed out before midnight.

165/365 - Kick Ass
We had a potluck for lunch at work today. I ate way too much.
Grandma and Isobel met me at the mall. They got a soft ice cream and then we walked home through the park so that Isobel could feed the bunnies.
Once home, I managed to get Isobel to nap on our bed. She was still sleeping when it was time for me to leave to meet Jon at his work.
We met up with some of Jon's former coworkers and saw "Kick Ass". It was a lot better than I was expecting; I really ended up enjoying it.
Afterward we all went to Joey's for a late dinner. It was a pleasant evening, but a late one. I think it was about midnight before we got home, so of course Isobel was already sleeping for the night.

164/365 Grandma's sweater
Slept in and went to work late. Good thing I have some banked time. I just didn't want to get out of bed in the morning.
I met up with grandma and Isobel at the mall after work. Did a little shopping - got Isobel a Wonder Woman t-shirt and some fruit for work's potluck on Friday.
As we were leaving the mall it started raining, so grandma put her jacket on Isobel (pictured) as it had been nice when they left and Isobel didn't have a rain jacket with her. Isobel was not impressed.
Jon got home from work and made pancake dinner. I went with my mom to the other mall in Richmond as she needed to find a baby gift for a friend's daughter. There are really not a lot of nice gender neutral clothes out there. Grandma also picked up a toy for Isobel.
Got home and Isobel had fun playing with her new toy - tea related stuff that is safe for the bath, but as she's using them with her teapot will never end up in the bath. Isobel eventually got to bed - around 9pm. And I made maple syrup fondue for the work potluck. I also boiled over a bunch of the syrup onto the stove. Oh well....
Before we went to bed, I relented and let Jon show me how to play Magic; he's been trying to get me to let him teach me how to play for weeks (if not longer) and I didn't think I'd be able to talk him into another game (as I've used that avoid tactic a lot already). I only understood a few basic things about it but managed to beat him; maybe I'll pick up more the next time he forces me to play.

163/365 - Doll House
Not much to report today. Went to work, picked up a few groceries on the way home (although forgot to get eggs), and then read while Isobel napped on me.
I took a book out of the library two months ago and keep renewing it. I never seem to find the time to read, but was determined to finish it by the end of the week. I'm still not sure what I think of the book though. It took me a while to get into, but once I did I was enjoying it. It was different, and I really did not like the ending. Overall, I'm very pleased that it's not a book I purchased. Now onto the next book.
Jon made breakfast sausage and perogies for dinner. I actually started the sausage, but got in trouble for not reading the package to see how to cook them and omitting adding water to the pan - in my defense I prefer breakfast sausage on the crispy side.
Jon was getting a headache so we skipped the family walk this evening. I'd like to start going at least a few evenings each week now that the weather is getting nicer.
Jon gave Isobel a bath and he's now putting her to bed.

I took a book out of the library two months ago and keep renewing it. I never seem to find the time to read, but was determined to finish it by the end of the week. 162/365 - Evening Walk
Busy day at work.
Isobel had just fallen asleep on me when our rental agent showed up to check up on the place. She's pessimistic about the owner selling the place too. Isobel woke up and that was the end of her five to ten minute nap.
Isobel helped me make a tuna casserole for dinner while grandma had a rest. Isobel was more interested in eating from my plate than her own for dinner. We had watermelon for dessert which she also really enjoyed.
After dinner, the three of us went for an evening walk along the dyke while grandma took a shower and had a video call with grandpa. It took Jon about fifteen minutes to get Isobel to go to sleep. She is however wearing a t-shirt over her pajamas as she didn't want to take it off when we got home from our walk and in anticipation of her falling asleep on the walk (no such luck) we put clothes over her pajamas before heading out.

161/365 - Toes, Dress and Tricycle
Still had a headache this morning so called in sick and tried to sleep it off. It's hard to sleep with a toddler walking in to check on you and calling for "mom dad". Oh well, my mom was able to entertain her for a while by playing with her at her doll house.
Got up and then we headed to the cheer gym so that Isobel could play on the trampolines and such. It was Jon's first time being able to see her there. She seemed to have fun, but was ready to leave after an hour. So we picked up a few groceries and headed home.
Grandma took Isobel for a walk in the park while Jon and I rushed home to put thegroceries away and fold some laundry. Jon left for work just before they got home.
Since Isobel had fallen asleep on the walk, I was able to crawl back into bed for another hour and get some more rest.
We then made banana cupcakes, which are okay but not as banana tasting as I had hoped. Tried a couple outfits on Isobel and then went to the park in search of hungry bunnies.
Dinner was just about finished when Jon got home from work. I made lemon chicken and carrots. Not the best dinner I've ever made, but definately not the worst and at least it was something different.
Gave Isobel a bath and then Jon put her to bed; she was asleep before 8pm.

160/365 - Bubbles on the Patio
I was not feeling well today. Had a bad headache. And Isobel was teething really bad and had bouts of being almost inconsolable - not that I blame her.
We all went to the mall for lunch and a tiny bit of shopping. Grandma and Isobel went to feed bunnies in the park and play in the courtyard so that Jon could send me to bed with a Tylenol while he did a bit of cleaning.
Jon and I then drove out to Steveson for a bit. Picked up a few groceries on the way home. Got home and blew some bubbles with Isobel on the patio.
She didn't nap until 6pm, so Jon's just trying to get her down now, about 9pm. I think it's going to be a rough night for her and us though.

159/365 - Trip to the Aquarium
Isobel did not sleep well last night. Jon ended up sleeping with her after I went to bed as she woke up a couple of times. I kept waking up wondering where he was and finally checked around 2:30am. Just before 4am, Isobel woke up crying for me and when Jon shushed her she started sobbing so they crawled into bed with me. It took until around 6am to get her to doze, while breastfeeding. And she woke up just after 7am ready to start the day.
We walked to the mall to pick up some breakfast and fed the only two bunnies we could find on the way there and back.
Then we drove out to Vancouver and picked up Angel and John and went to the aquarium. I had forgotten how busy it gets on a nice day. Our membership expires at the end of the month; but I suspect we'll both just end up getting another membership the next time we go. We didn't look at everything at the aquarium as we decided to head to Park Royal so that Angel could buy a couple of items.
We ended up getting home after 6pm, having a dinner of roasted chicken, and then giving Isobel a bath at 7pm. She ate some frozen grapes and then Jon put her to bed. I drove out to Langley to pick up my mom.

158/365 - Where's Mommy's Nose?
Grandma and Isobel picked me up at work so that we could drive grandma out to Langley for the night. Isobel slept on the way there, but was awake and unhappy of the way home in rush hour traffic.
After getting home, we took Isobel's tricycle down to the courtyard for a little while. It was hard on my back to push her around as she can't quite reach the peddles yet.
Went back upstairs and waited for Jon to get home from work. Isobel ate left overs for dinner - mac and cheese and meatballs. She really enjoyed the meatballs.
Gave her and bath to wash her hair. She then played the "where's x?" game. In the picture she's showing us where mommy's nose is.

157/365 - Offering Mommy a Smartie
Grandma and Isobel met me at work and took the sky train home with me. We walked home through the park so Isobel could feed the bunnies.
Got home and Isobel was very excited to see that daddy had brought her birthday tricycle out of the storage locker and put it on the patio for her. Grandma and grandpa got it for her second birthday but decided she could have it early to use in the nice weather. (It also might have helped her cause to get it early that she cried when I put it into storage). She insisted that I bring it into the living room so she could climb all over it - her legs are still a little too short to reach the pedals.
I took a short nap and I had taken an antihistamine after getting home and it knocked me out. Got up and put some meatballs in the oven and some rice in the rice cooker for dinner.
Jon arrived home, we ate dinner, and then headed down to the pool for a bit. Isobel seemed to enjoy herself. When we got back upstairs, Isobel breastfed for a while until I asked her if she was ready for a bottle and bed. She then excitedly jumped up and called for Jon (he usually makes her bottles and puts her to bed). She was asleep much faster than normal. Now we're watching "Across the Universe" with my mom as she had never heard of it.

156/365 - Wednesday Date Night
My supervisor took some of us out to lunch today - for Vietnamese. It was very yummy. And I managed to leave on time today.
Got home and had a nap with Isobel. She even crawled under the covers with me and did not freak out over them as normal.
I walked through the park with Isobel and grandma to the mall where I left them to go meet up with Jon for our date night. We went to the Cactus Club for dinner and then to Imperial Hobbies to play some board games.
When we got home Isobel was asleep. She hardly missed us (only got upset at the idea of having a bath so that was slipped) and went to bed without any crying.

155/365 - Kisses for Grandpa
Isobel will kiss the picture of Grandpa (and Grandma) sometimes. There's usually a photo of her Poppa and Nana when they got married, but Jon took it to work to scan it and hasn't put it back yet. We really should put out a more recent photo of them for her.
Today was a back at work day. I also ended up working for about eleven hours today. Poor Isobel! She was so clingy today, and warm (my mom suspects more teething) and she just wanted to breastfeed. My mom called over an hour after I normally leave to let me know Isobel wanted milk. So my mom gave her a bottle and Isobel slept for almost two hours before I called to say I was finally leaving work. I only just beat Jon home.
Jon made banana pancakes for dinner and is just putting Isobel to bed, although it doesn't seem to be going to well from all the noise she's making.

154/365 - Picking up Grandma in Chilliwack
It was a long day of being in the car today.
Jon and I woke up to find that during the night Isobel had crawled into bed with us. We got up and got ready to drive out to Chilliwack to pick up Grandma from Great Aunt Joan's. Isobel fell asleep by the time we got to Langley and woke up on the other side of Abbotsford. After listening to the screaming before she fell asleep I think any major road trip holidays are out of the question for this summer.
We had a nice visit with Great Aunt Joan before heading over to Nana Althea's.
We had a lunch at Nana Althea's - yummy baking powder biscuits and then began the long drive home. Again, Isobel slept most of the car ride.
Jon and I took Isobel into the pool for a bit. We were tired so we ordered pizza and bread sticks for dinner. Isobel actually ate some of the pizza - normally she turns up her nose at it.
Jon's just putting her to bed now.

153/365 - Easter Sunday
Isobel woke us up early, as normal. She breastfed in bed for a little while and then we got up so Isobel could find the eggs the easter bunny left her. She found most, with some help.
Got dressed and headed to the grocery store for a few items.
Jon and Isobel made evil brownies. And then some friends came over to visit: Matty, Mike and Julia, Julia Ko, Angel and her new guy, and Brian and Kayo.
We ordered Thai House for lunch (before Brian and Kayo arrived though). And then we all headed to the park to blow bubbles and feed bunnies. It was a very fun afternoon, even though Isobel only wanted Auntie Angel - mommy and daddy hardly exist whenever Auntie Angel's around.
Jon, Isobel and I vegged after everyone left. Actually Jon and I played FF13 while Isobel napped.
Isobel tried mild green curry sauce with rice. Except for the spiciness she really seemed to like it.
Jon bathed Isobel and is now putting her to bed.

152/365 - 17 Months Old
We all got up in the morning and drove my mom out to Langley. She's spending the weekend with my aunt. Fortunately for us Isobel managed to sleep the entire car ride - there and back.
I had a headache, so Jon let me go back back to bed for a couple of hours while he played with Isobel.
Jeff and Louise came over to take us for a birthday lunch for me. We tried a sushi place near our apartment and had all you can eat. It was very good and filling. Isobel loved the edamame.
After lunch we took the long way home, stopping at the mall to pick up some carrots for the bunnies in the park. Had a nice visit with them.
Jon made dinner of burritos after Jeff and Louise left. I bathed Isobel while he took down the garbage and recycling. Got Isobel's monthly picture with her penguin and then put her to bed. Jon and I watched some more Mad Men episodes before going to bed ourselves.

151/365 - Reading with Mike and Julia
Jon got an email from Julia yesterday saying that her and Mike were coming into town for the weekend. So we left Isobel at home with grandma and met up with then at Toys R Us (where we got Isobel some Thomas the Train engines to play with).
We then headed to Drexoll so that Jon could pick me up my birthday present (the two expansions to Small World) and we played Galaxy Trucker. The best part of the game was building the ship. It was a good game, but too many little pieces and we already have a lot of games with little pieces. Plus there are other games that I would prefer.
We then walked to Mongolie Grill for lunch. Drove to the good cinnamon bun place and picked up a baker's dozen to bring home.
Matty was already there when we arrived back at our apartment. Isobel was a little shy at first but warmed up to Mike and Julia really quickly. She made everyone read to her. And Julia drank some pretend soup for Isobel, played the role of Isobel's pony, and taught her the art of sticking pennies in between her toes. Isobel also got to feed Mike jello. In other words, Julia and Mike were a big hit with Isobel.
Isobel got to bed late, 8:30pm just as Matty, Mike and Julia were leaving. Jon and I were both in bed shortly thereafter. It's amazing how tired we are now that we have a baby/toddler.

150/365 - Isobel's Purse
I had the day off today. Normally, I try to take my birthday off but I decided to take the next day instead to make it a five day weekend for me instead.
We had a busy day today. We went to the grocery store in the morning to pick up a few things. Then we left Jon, he started work at noon today, and headed out to Langley to visit with a family friend, Veronica. It was a very nice visit over coffee. Grandma bought Isobel this pink kitten purse as Isobel was very keen on it. She carried it around the mall for a little while and then carried it around at home once we got there.
On the way home we ran a couple of errands, and then I decided to drive into Vancouver to pick up the photos from the Bopomo photo shoot last weekend, before going home. Luckily for me, Isobel co-operated and slept on the way there. Grandma got Isobel a soft ice cream cone while I picked up the photos. I'm very happy with how they turned out.
We got home and I decided that Isobel and I should go pick up Jon from work and show him the photos. Being the day before a long weekend I assumed that it would be super busy there, but it wasn't. We were super early, so Isobel and I played in the waiting room while we waited for Jon to get off.
We were almost half way home when I realized that I left my keys at Jon's work and the only clicker for our parking garage is on my key set. So Jon hightailed back to work to get the keys while Isobel and I checked out Chapters and waited for him.
On the way home we stopped at Richmond Center to pick up Sherlock Holmes (which we're watching now) and some buns to go with dinner. Took the route through the park to feed the bunnies some carrots and came home for dinner.
Gave Isobel a bath and washed her hair. Jon put her to bed.
