Robyn, Mason and Cordy came to our place today to watch Isobel for us and enjoy some air conditioning. After Jon told Isobel that baby Cordy was coming over, she'd ask for "baby" over and over. And when he left to go to work, she didn't even want to walk him to the elevator.
After I got home, and Mama Bird and Baby Birds departed, Isobel was a little cranky. She asked for "baby" a couple of times and then for some milk. So I made her a bottle and laid down with her in our bed. She napped for over two hours. Thanks Robyn for tiring her out; I was also able to doze and read for a little while.
Had leftover chicken pot pie for dinner. Isobel had watermelon and jello for dessert. Jon and Isobel played on the patio for a while. We went for a late walk to the park, Isobel insisted on bringing George (who had to wear socks and sit in her stroller) with us. Saw some bunnies. It took Isobel a long time to fall asleep tonight and she wanted mommy, not daddy.
