We had Thanksgiving dinner at The Bird's house. Robyn and Raven prepared a very tasty meal; Isobel ate lots of turkey and corn (she even went back later and ate off Mason's plate).
We picked up Brian and drove him to The Bird's place. We hadn't seen him in a while and it was nice to catch up; he's meeting up with his wife in November for a nice long vacation and then bringing her back in December. Kayo has been in Japan and was looking after her grandmother who recently passed away; we're looking forward to her coming home.
Before and after dinner the adults were able to play some boardgames while the kids played together.
We left about 9pm; it was a long day. Isobel fell asleep on the car ride home, and Jon managed to get her into bed without really waking her up once we got home. I felt a little bad letting her sleep in jeans and half her jacket still on, but at least she was sleeping. Jon and I finished Heroes season four and went to bed.
