We had a busy Saturday. This was supposed to be our weekend without plans, but we very quickly had lots to do.
In the morning, we dropped off some stuff for Karla and then she got a ride to Broadway while we went to check out the costume shop. Jon didn't find everything he was looking for, but he got a sword, and Isobel got a pirate hat and a candle for her upcoming birthday.
We then stopped at Oakridge Mall. Headed home and we all eventually took a nap. Jon and Isobel got up first and let me sleep a little bit longer.
We then got ready to head back to Vancouver for the evening. We met up with April, Bobby, Reg, and Kaitlyn for Pork Belly dinner. It was actually better than I expected, although Isobel did not like the pork.
From there we headed to Mark and Allice's to visit with Annie who is in town from Saskatoon. Had a real nice visit with everyone and stayed a lot longer than we should have although Isobel was having a lot of fun, despite having the beginnings of a snotty nose and head cold.
Got home, Isobel and I crawled into my bed and Jon went to sleep in hers to make sure that one of us would be okay to look after our sicky the next day.
