Ryley slept in while Jon made pancakes and did some general tidying up. When Ryley got up, Isobel was excited to see that he was still here.
We drove out to North Vancouver for noon for a potlatch that Jon's gran had come down for. They served moose stew; I'm not a big meat person and the idea of eating moose is a little strange to me. We didn't stay long enough to see any of the dancing as Isobel was getting really cranky and wanted to go home. She fell asleep on the way home so we drove around a little bit. Stopped in at Safeway and picked up a chicken for dinner. Jon gave Isobel a bath and we then had a lazy evening.
